Internet Marketing Manager
I was hired by an executive at the corporate level with a very ambiguous job description: generate website revenue (2 out of the 8 radio stations didn't have a website).
This role required extensive research, out of the box thinking and building new skillsets quickly.
I had the opportunity to design and launch 2 websites, understand WebTrends traffic data and collaborate with station programmers to create and revise content. With this marketing platform I was also able to design customized advertising products for each client!
Within 6 months our Cincinnati market was 2nd to Los Angeles in website revenue.

Getting an audience, especially top prescribing physicians, can be a challenge.
Instead of presenting random clinicals studies, I asked physicians what prescribing challenges they were facing and provided them with the relevant information. Out of the box thinking got access to closed offices by offering a made to order omelet station before the office opened. Our regional team collaborated and designed unique events that secured out of the office time with top prescribers.
In the first quarter, I met budget for the time in 18 months at 108%

Renovation and interior design
Many contractor positions operate on industry standards. Framing for example is 16" on center. But with Interior Design and Decorating there isn't a standard; clients interview multiple designers.
At each of my interviews, the other candidates had walked through the door with a design in hand. I walked in with questions about their lifestyles and preferences.
Every client's response was similar, "no one ever asked us questions before!"
How can you design a space before you meet the client or see their house?
Their answers fueled 80% of my design ideas at that first meeting. I don't have a design template, each project reflects the client's unique personality and how they use the space.
